Found out from local J.D dealer that they no longer make a repair kit and a new one is only $103.00 Could anyone tell me why I could not put an electric pump on and what pressure pump would I get.Tractor. Oct 18, 2015 · It provides the pulse to make the fuel pump move the gas. If the line is cracked or dried out there will be no pulse/vacuum to drive fuel pump - no gas flow. It would also cause oil to leak. If there is no oil leaks it could be the pump and there are rebuild kits avl. Pretty simple to remove/rebuild.
